George Bush and 9/11 are two very emotional topics for many. Recently discovered photos of President George Bush during the 9/11 crisis are sure to stir up emotions again. It was a time of National tragedy, of strong leadership, and deep sorrow.
According to The Blaze:
A collection of never-before-seen photographs released to PBS this week in response to a Freedom of Information Act request provide a look at President George W. Bush’s response to the September 11 attacks.
The images, released Friday, were the third batch of its kind released in response to an open records request. Last summer, hundreds of images were published by the U.S. National Archives showing the entire administration in the hours after the Twin Towers collapsed.
The photographs show Bush in the Florida classroom immediately after being informed of the attacks, consulting with aides in Air Force One and preparing to address the nation in the Oval Office.

While I’m disappointed “W” isn’t embracing Trump, (neither did a lot of us until after Ben Carson and Ted Cruz were out of the race) and despite his several errors, I still think a lot of good things about him! FOR EXAMPLE, he inherited the Bill Clinton “Technology Bubble” that was about to burst! Despite that catastrophe he turned the economy around quicker than Obama did after the “Housing Bubble” burst.
Then, in his last year in office, he took the hit for the damage the democrats did after taking control of Congress in January 2007! While he didn’t warn the folks about the “Housing Bubble” he did try to get Congress to fix it, but since it was a democrat Congress they ignored his efforts and actually rebuffed him with Barney Frank and others making speeches that pooh-poohed his entreaties.
Also, when he started to show some of those liberal traits of his father, he quickly backed off when the party base showed their ire! Some examples: Harriet Miers to the Supreme Court; Dubai ports deal; amnesty for illegal aliens and the like. I agree Iraq was his most grievous error, but before leaving office, along with General Petraeus, they created a very stable circumstance there. If Obama listened to him about leaving a residual force, Iraq would never have descended into the current turmoil. He did all the right things in Afghanistan, but again Obama let that get out of hand because like too many democrats, he felt The USA shouldn’t be winning wars!
George W we miss you! I pray Trump will keep his word and restore our nation to they stable place it was before the democrats took control of Congress in January 2007!
