Levin, Beck Cruz Cash Connection Exposed, Levin Vows Nevertrump
Roger Stone exposed the obscene relationship between the Bush-Cruz mouthpieces, Mark Levin, Glenn Beck and Erick Erickson and the GOP establishment, striking quite a nerve with Levin in particular. We were supposed to believe that their dogged support of “the messiah,” or as Beck calls him, “the anointed one,” was based solely upon his conservative credentials and that prostitution of the political type was the one kind that the Cruz organization avoided.
Mark Levin is now a self-professed nevertrumper. He’s attempted to create the impression that he’s a Cruz supporter for all the right conservative reasons. If you include getting a lot of money as a conservative principle then he’s got a point. Otherwise he and his comrades have been exposed as being much less honorable than they claim. Levin’s conservative fervor doesn’t extend to supporting the GOP candidate regardless of who it is. A true conservative might feel obligated to do so in order to prevent America’s further degradation at the hands of a Democrat. His priorities are identical to the rest of the establishment hacks, to prevent Trump and the American people from having a government by the people. Ours is to remain a government by the special interests and wealthy, and that’s what Levin, Beck and company are working towards.
Cruz is now controlled by the Bush Machine, the epitome of a criminal political establishment. No more false claims of being an outsider are heard in describing the Bush candidate now that Neil Bush is Ted’s Finance Manager and Jeb and the rest of the clan are directly involved in the campaign.
Roger Stone offered his own opinion as to why the media figures are all so stridently anti-Trump – “They’re doing it for the money.” He points out that the “same GOP establishment big-dollar donors and PACS that are pushing House Speaker Paul Ryan as a dark-horse presidential candidate, despite the big-government omnibus-budget deals Ryan reached last year with ‘president’ Obama, are funding Mark Levin, Erick Erickson, and Glenn Beck, to promote Sen. Ted Cruz.”
But aren’t they above all of that? Don’t they, as “true patriots,” love America above all else, even more than money? It doesn’t look like it. They’re in the media because they’re good talkers, not because they’re truthful. Stone notes that “The Conservative Tree House,” exposed the “conservative” pundits using their audience to promote Ted Cruz as the last, best hope to block Trump, particularly in the all-out effort in Wisconsin.
On Wednesday Stone an article saying, “These financial/media relationships have largely and historically, remained hidden. They have sure never been publicly, clearly, and regularly stated so the consuming audience would know the presentation was fraught with financial conflict.” The curtain is being pulled back and Levin doesn’t like it.
Stone also noted that a January 13th article on the Daily Beast titled “Pay to Play” featured information referencing a Politico report, since apparently scrubbed, of an effort on behalf of the GOP establishment to recruit, for money, Mark Levin, his opinions and their dissemination to his audience.
He raised the issue of “The Senate Conservatives Fund (SCF), a “conservative” fund founded by former Sen. Jim DeMint of South Carolina that backed Cruz in his Senate fight against Obamacare, spent $427,000 to buy copies of radio talk show host Mark Levin’s four-year-old book “Liberty or Tyranny” to distribute to donors – a purchase that should have earned Levin approximately $1 million in royalties.”
Despite his often holier than thou tenor in his radio rants, Levin failed to mention yet another financial conflict of interest, the fact that the son of his fiancé is a full-time Cruz staffer. Memory lapses are commonplace with the Cruz campaign. Those million dollar loans from Goldman Sachs and Citibank are just small details that anybody could forget to report.
Little did we know that Glenn Beck would also have a financial motivation for supporting Ted Cruz. Here we all took his claim at face value when he said it was all about fulfilling Joseph Smith’s Mormon philosophy. Beck guaranteed it in his combo revival rally for Cruz on the Sunday before the Utah primary.
Money seems to have found its way into Glenn’s pocket from a GOP establishment operative named David Barton. He runs the Cruz Super PAC “Keep the Promise,” and is also the head of what may someday grow into “The Glenn Beck Foundation,” but for now is Beck’s “Mercury One” Charity.
Stone cautioned, “So, the next time you see Glenn Beck on his knees proclaiming that Ted Cruz is the ‘anointed one,’ deemed by God to be president of the United States, you might ask yourself if God also deemed Barton to put at Beck’s disposal the millions in Super-PAC money he can funnel to Beck, so long as Beck continues to sing Ted Cruz’s tune.”
He also notes that Erick Erickson got $3 million to support his own media venture, “The Resurgent,” with Super PAC bucks from the Ricketts family of Wisconsin. Yes they are the same ones who own Gov. Scott Walker, the recent convert to Cruzicism.
The money is everywhere. The stop Trump Super PAC, Our Principles received $3 million in February alone from the Ricketts, with the beneficiaries being the same motley cast of political call girls, Levin, Erickson, Beck and Ben Shapiro, the prissy little former editor-at-large at Breitbart who supposedly quit over the Michelle Fields incident. Something says he was looking for an excuse, once he had gotten a whiff of all of that Super PAC dough just waiting to be had.
Levin didn’t appreciate being exposed and vowed to never vote for Trump, even if it meant that Hillary Clinton or Bernie Sanders was elected. This is a 180 degree reversal from where he was on April 6th, showing what damage a little unflattering taste of the truth can do to one’s perspective. Then again, maybe it was a maneuver so he can blame Stone rather himself as the cause for his disloyalty. Levin also engaged in a little intimidation, threatening to urge his audience to do likewise.
Go ahead, Levin. Once your audience learns more about the kind of person you really are you may have trouble getting them to listen to you at all. Its size has already been greatly diminished by your alliance with the nutjob wing of the GOP. Your attempts to recklessly wield your influence as a tool for personal vengeance may not set so well with your listeners. Follow Beck and Cruz down that crooked road, it will be a short trip.
