A little rebellion every now and then …

During the signing of a bill that authorizes indefinite detention of American citizens, Obama made it clear he’s not going to let Congress’ efforts to protect religion-based values — much less the First Amendment — get in his way.Maybe it’s time to pray … before an executive order makes it illegal. A little rebellion every now and then …

The colonists who rebelled against King George had it easy – they were revolting against “taxation without representation.”This simmering uprising is targeting something far more insidious … taxation with ineffective and inept representation.

On November 6th, when the votes were counted, Barack Obama’s vision for America won the majority vote. Now, as we regroup and mount Liberty Counsel Action’s counter-offensive, I need to know your thoughts on several key issues.  Please see my very important message below – Mat.

Throughout the 2012 election season, President Obama regularly proclaimed one thought with which we took no issue: “This election offers the American people a choice between two very different visions of our future.”

It was quite an understatement and, sadly, President Obama’s vision won.

Elections have consequences.  Under another four years of Barack Obama’s tyrannical presidency, we will certainly face dramatic changes that most Americans – including many who voted for him in both of his presidential elections – will intensely resent.

President Obama was given four more years to enact his vision in our foreign and domestic policies, the size and scope of our government, and in federal judicial appointments – all of which will dramatically impact the rule of law and determine whether or not our Constitution will bear any resemblance to the charter the Founders gave us when he is through with it.

Our most precious liberties as American citizens are certain to come under increasing fire. They may not even survive.

++We are now a severely divided nation.

Political pundits and the liberal media are busily crowing that conservatism lost in the 2012 elections, and lost BIG. They say that the tea party has been destroyed (or belief in its core principles, at any rate), that the Republican Party is in a shambles, and that there is no longer any effective political opposition to the Democrat Party.

I wholeheartedly agree that our nation is more divided than we have seen in many decades.  As I have frequently said, Barack Obama is the most divisive President in American history.Unlike Abraham Lincoln, who was known as “The Great Uniter,”  Barack Obama governs like “The Great Divider.”

Now, in light of the fundamental transformation that America has voted to continue for four more years, I must know where you stand on some of the key issues that are among Liberty Counsel Action’s core concerns.
